Raspy Rawls Anti Rape Campaign



Atlanta, Georgia - On August 24, 2015. Raspy Rawls has announced the release of his lead single “RAPE,” off his upcoming project FROM ME TO YOU, WITH LOVE”. The song is a special dedication to women across the globe who are survivors of sexual abuse. Raspy’s anti-rape campaign includes a video explaining how the concept was birthed. It also contains testimonies from brave survivors who utilize Raspy’s platform to speak up and encourage other survivors to do the same. Rawls says, “Music is spiritual, and it should be used to heal, not kill.”

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to Rechell Cruz and her organization “Unrequited Love,” which helps provide a rest haven for survivors. Cruz served in the US military and has a Masters in Psychology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
